Systec Conveyor Receives Patent for De-Sheeter Device
The United States
Patent and Trademark Office have given Systec Conveyors a patent for their
De-Sheeter Device (DSD) this past week. This patent becomes the third one
for Systec, which also has one patent still pending.
The De-Sheeter Device (DSD) was engineered for removing deck waste, or waste
sheets from corrugated unit loads. The DSD was designed with operator safety
in mind, allowing the operator to un-band the unitized load without standing
on the conveyor. The DSD is ideal for facilities that process delivered unitized
sheets as well as converting machines that have automatic pre-feeders.
